The earrings hardware is hypoallergenic and is made from stainless steel or gold plated stainless steel. No nickle or zinc.

The Rocky Mountain Aspens color change in autumn is one of the most beautiful and memorable natural sights. A perfectly preserved piece of the Rockies makes the perfect keepsake!

The leaves are chosen for their uniqueness and color, and are perfectly imperfect. The colors range from bright Yellow, to orange, and hints of red. Your earrings are a unique piece of nature!

Why are they so special?

Because most Aspens grow together in colonies with shared root systems, they are considered the largest living organisms on earth.

Aspens also can be very old and considered to be an indicator of ancient woodlands. One colony in Utah, given the nickname of "Pando", has been estimated to be as old as 80,000 years.

Resin is very durable. We use nontoxic Artresin which is specifically formulated for art, engineered to protect from yellowing, certified food safe, with no BPAs or VOCs. Clean gently and store away from heat.
