If you follow us on social media, you may have seen some new art being shared…and it looks pretty different from what we usually make. Don’t worry, we’ll still be making our Colorado wildflower art and jewelry! We just have some new art to add…and we really hope you love it!
As you may know, I started this business after leaving 10+ years of DV and I decided that I needed a creative outlet for myself and a way to get my voice back. I had PTSD and crippling social anxiety that made it hard to go out in public or make friends. My business changed all that! It was built on the power and principles of independence and entrepreneurship for women, and feminism has always been the backbone of what I do. Being in controlling marriages, I never felt like I had freedom to do what I want, and lack of my own money and resources made it hard for me to leave bad situations. My little art business reminds me everyday that I have something that no one can take away from me, and that’s priceless. Our new feminist art is an extension of that, and how we are feeling in this current climate. Right now we are offering prints, but soon we hope to have stickers and tees as well!
We even created a fun freebie that will be exclusive to our feminist art orders. We will be sharing that on social media this week!
Last year we did a lovely little farmers market in a nearby mountain town, Buena Vista. We learned so much from you! We got to see in real time, what you actually think of our creations. We had a new jewelry idea that ended up being a break out favorite. Our apothecary necklaces! This year we will be creating new designs and themes for this new popular piece. We will be making a special “medicine woman” line that includes local healing herbs and plants. We will be sharing a new design as well- a larger teardrop with metal petals. And there will also be a new mini version. We can’t wait!
There are many things we are looking forward to sharing with our new lifestyle blog and social medias. Coming soon we’ll be sharing flower pressing tips and tricks, and some fun and cheap pressed flower DIY projects. I like to throw in some simple healthy recipes, gardening tips and inspo, local artists, and memes for our fellow nature loving feral girlies. You can currently find us on Facebook and IG!
